Christie C. Carson
Christie has over eight years experience in the field of IP law. She began her career as the Office Manager in March of 2001, with the Law Offices of William W. Cochran and was promoted to the position of Trademark Paralegal while maintaining her position as Office Manager. Christie resumed her position in October 2006 as Trademark Paralegal, after having taken off a year and seven months for maternity leave.
Education: Virginia Wesleyan College, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, 1993, with a minor in Elementary Education.

Doug Mahloch
Doug is a Colorado Native with more than a decade of experience as a patent paralegal in Silicon Valley. Doug has worked in both law firm and corporate settings in patent prosecution and patent administration. Fort Collins is home. Doug has a BS in Administration of Criminal Justice from San Jose State University and a BS in Health & Exercise Science from Colorado State University. Doug joined Cochran Freund & Young in June 2022.
Michele DiPietro
Originally from a beach town located in the suburbs of New York City, Michele traded in the ocean for the Rocky Mountains in 2019. Michele joined Cochran Freund & Young in April 2022 and brings over five years of multijurisdictional paralegal experience to her new role. She has a B.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
